Possessed!
No, this is not a review of the Exorcist movie but rather, a description of myself this November.
I am out of control. I haven't been "PAT" for the past two weeks. I'm not liking it but I can't help it.
I'm hurt and angry; easily offended and unmindful of other people.
I am not focused.
Am only motivated by one thing.
And it's driving me crazy.
I want to stop but I can't seem to.
I wanna scream but my voice is muffled.
I wanna cry but my ducts are dry.
Let me return to how I used to be.
Soon, before I am ruined.
*akalain mo yun, nakasulat tuloy ako ng tula!

Possession often leads to isolation, because only the possessed can truly understand what they are going through. Add to that the fact that one becomes singular in their focus, in their thoughts, in their emotion to a point when nothing or no one else seems to matter. The key word there is SEEMS. Because at the core of it all is an illusion. I believe you already know this Pat. I just thought it would help if you heard it from someone else. The thing is if you want it to end then you have to step out of the little world the possession has created. Look to other people, do other things, even if your insides are rebelling. It won't be easy. The good news is it's not that hard either, just in the beginning. All it takes is time and will. Take care Pat.
